How much Hungryroot costs
Hungryroot prices your plan by the people you feed and what you pick each week. On bigger plans a serving costs as little as $3.99 for breakfast, $5.99 for lunch and $8.99 for dinner. Shipping is $6.99 on an order under $70 and free from $70.
The first-box deal is a separate, lower number that applies only at the start. Work out your own cart after the deal.
How Hungryroot works
A weekly grocery subscription: groceries and simple recipes for 2 or 4 servings, picked for you from your Food Profile and editable before your shopping window closes, with single-serving prepared options such as soups and heat-and-eat meals.
There is no box price before you sign up: the plan is priced by the people it feeds and what is picked each week. There is no one-time order, and every change closes with the shopping window, when the card is charged.
Groceries and recipes: Recipes serve 2 or 4 and the number of breakfasts, lunches, dinners, snacks and sweets is yours to set, so there is no fixed box to match.
Prepared options: Single-serving salad kits, soups and heat-and-eat meals are items in the same weekly cart, not a separate plan with box sizes.
What each kind of preparation asks of your kitchen.
