A whole menu without dairy
Purple Carrot sells plant-based kits and meals to heat, and Splendid Spoon and Daily Harvest sell frozen plant-based meals and smoothies; on all three you can pick anything on the menu. All three also say their food is made where milk or dairy is handled, in the allergen column above.
Dairy-free dishes on a mixed menu
At HelloFresh the dairy-free choice is its vegan meals; Sunbasket tags Dairy-Free recipes and Dinnerly marks them with an icon; CookUnity sells meals made without milk, cheese, butter or cream; Green Chef and Gobble say only that they have options, and Gobble that it does not promise a full menu. The number of dairy-free dishes changes every week, so check that week’s menu holds enough for your box.
A milk allergy
A dairy-free label describes the recipe, not the kitchen it was packed in. With a milk allergy, read each service’s allergen statement and ask the service before you order: what a menu label can and cannot tell you.
