What you type into the matcher, calculator and planner stays in your browser: no account, no address, and nothing you enter is stored on our server.

Your choices stay with you

The matcher, calculator, comparisons and planner run in your browser. We do not ask for an address, ZIP code, payment details or an account, and we store nothing you type on any server.

What goes in the address bar

Household choices (people, dinners, cook or heat, preparation, ordering, breaks, menu) and the services you compare go in the page address, so you can reopen a result or send it to someone. Prices and cart amounts never do. These addresses are not sent to our measurement tools, and links to meal services carry none of them.

What your browser keeps

If you press “Save this household”, those choices are kept in this browser’s local storage so the next visit opens on them; “Reset” removes them. The theme control also keeps your light or dark choice there. Clearing this site’s data removes both.

Visitor statistics

We use two measurement services to see which pages and tools are useful: Plausible Analytics (Plausible Insights OÜ, European Union) and Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC, United States). Plausible counts visits and actions without cookies and without an identifier that follows you between sites. Google Analytics runs with analytics storage, advertising storage, ad-user-data and ad-personalisation all denied before any Google code loads, so it sets no advertising identifier. Both receive page paths without query strings, so your household choices are not included. Event details are general action types, never your household, amounts or menu choices. Both providers receive technical connection details such as browser type and IP address.

The contact form

The contact form is the one place where something you type leaves your browser. It sends your report, your reply address and any page or source you add through Cloudflare, which runs an automatic security check that never asks you to solve anything. We keep each report in our contact inbox at Cloudflare for 12 months, then it is deleted automatically, and a copy goes to a private Discord channel our team reads. We use your reply address only to answer you. To see or delete a report you sent, use the same form and we will delete both copies. Please do not include passwords, account keys or payment details.

Who else receives data

  • Google LLC (Google Analytics 4), for page and action measurement: policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Plausible Insights OÜ, for cookie-free measurement hosted in the European Union.
  • Cloudflare, Inc., which checks and stores contact-form reports, and Discord Inc., where our team reads a copy.
  • The meal service you choose to visit, under its own privacy policy. We add nothing to those links and send no referrer.
  • If advertising is ever added, this page will name the network and what it receives before the first advertisement is shown.

If you are in the EEA or the UK

Measurement relies on the legitimate interest of understanding which pages and tools are used, with advertising and personalisation consent denied by default. We do not sell or share personal information, and we run no profiling. We hold no account or cookie identifier for you, only a report you send through the contact form, kept for 12 months. Plausible holds measurement data only in aggregate form, and Google holds it for the retention period set in our Analytics property: two months by Google’s default, and 14 months at most for data tied to a browser. To see or delete a report you sent, or for any other request, use the contact form.
