Skip one box
- On the website, open your cart at the top right and choose Manage under the delivery date.
- Choose Skip this Delivery. To skip several, open Orders, then Upcoming, and choose Skip under each one.
- In the app, tap Manage under the delivery date on the Home tab, then Skip this Delivery.
Skipping removes that one delivery; your plan carries on with the next one on your schedule.
Pause for longer
- Before your shopping window closes, open the same cancel page and choose to pause, for up to 8 weeks.
- To skip a few deliveries instead, skip up to 3 weeks ahead from Orders, then Upcoming.
Hungryroot pauses for up to 8 weeks, or lets you skip up to 3 weeks of deliveries ahead.
What happens after the cutoff
Once your shopping window closes, the order can’t be edited or cancelled, and your card is charged for it. If the window has only just closed, text Hungryroot’s support team right away, at the number on its help page for skipping a delivery: it says it will check whether that order can still be skipped or cancelled.
Work out the cutoff for your delivery and download a weekly reminder.

Questions
Can you cancel Hungryroot at any time?
Yes, online, in 3 steps, except your first order: for that, contact Hungryroot’s support team. A box already past its cutoff still ships and is charged.
When is the Hungryroot cutoff?
When your shopping window closes. Hungryroot charges your card when your shopping window closes; your Upcoming page shows when that is.
Can you pause Hungryroot instead?
Hungryroot’s longer break: pause up to 8 weeks, or skip up to 3 weeks ahead. The steps are under “Pause for longer” above.
Can you come back after cancelling?
Yes. Hungryroot lets you reactivate your plan from your account.
If you are switching rather than stopping
You want a box price before you sign up (Dinnerly, Marley Spoon and Tempo publish theirs), to order once without a subscription (Blue Apron, CookUnity), or only meals to heat (Factor, Tempo).
