Choose Tempo if

You want heat-and-eat meals for one person, high in protein, and want to know what your box costs before you sign up.

Look elsewhere if

You want vegetarian or vegan meals (Factor has a Vegan + Veggie menu), to order once without a subscription (CookUnity), or to cook (Home Chef, which runs Tempo).

Check before you order

Tempo prices every box size on its home page; the bigger the box, the less each meal costs, and shipping and, in some states, sales tax come on top. Skips and changes close at 12 PM Central on the Wednesday before the delivery week, when the order is charged. Cancelling online does not stop the first order.
