How to skip, pause or cancel Green Chef

Cancel online in 3 steps, by 11:59 PM Pacific, five days before delivery. Miss the cutoff and the next box still ships and is charged at the price in your Green Chef cart.

Cancel Green Chef

  1. Log in, open the menu at the top right and choose Settings.
  2. Scroll down to the Account section and click Deactivate your Plan.
  3. Give a reason and click Deactivate now.

Green Chef charges your card just after this cutoff. It writes the time as PST all year round; your upcoming order shows the exact time. Keep the confirmation email or screen until your next delivery date has passed.

Most Green Chef credits, including referral bonuses and promotional offers, are removed when you cancel. The cancellation screen shows the amount you would lose.

Find the cutoff for your delivery date

Then add a weekly reminder to your own calendar.

Skip one box

  1. Go to the week you want to skip in My Menu.
  2. Select Edit Delivery, then Skip this week, and confirm.
  3. In the app: Edit delivery, then Skip this week.

Skipping removes that one delivery; your plan carries on with the next one on your schedule.

Pause for longer

Green Chef describes a break as skipping weeks: up to four weeks ahead, from My Menu.

What happens after the cutoff

The upcoming order cannot be changed once the service cutoff passes.
