Paleo meal delivery: the three services that label it

Three of the 14 services compared here label paleo food. Sunbasket sells paleo meal kits, high in protein and with no dairy, gluten, grains, soy or corn; CookUnity sells paleo meals ready to heat, built around proteins, vegetables and fats; and Daily Harvest has a paleo collection made without dairy, grains or refined sugars. The other eleven name no paleo option on the pages we read. A label describes the dish, not a medical diet.

Which one fits your week

Sunbasket is the one you cook: its paleo recipes come in kits for two or four people. CookUnity’s are single meals to heat, from a box of four. Daily Harvest’s are frozen smoothies, bowls and other items rather than complete dinners, so they cover breakfasts and lunches better than a week of dinners.

Close, but not paleo

Other labels leave out some of what paleo does, but not all of it. A keto or low-carb label skips most grains and sugar but allows dairy; Splendid Spoon and Daily Harvest are dairy-free and gluten-free throughout, yet their soups, bowls and smoothies are built on grains, oats and legumes. If you eat paleo, read each dish’s ingredients against your own list: keto meal delivery and dairy-free meal delivery compare those labels.

The Sunbasket and CookUnity pages give each one’s box sizes, cutoff and how to skip or cancel; Splendid Spoon vs Daily Harvest compares the two frozen services.
