How to skip, pause or cancel Trifecta

Cancel by phone, email or chat, by the Tuesday ten days before a Friday delivery or the Wednesday ten days before a Saturday one: seven full business days, as its terms ask. Miss the cutoff and the next box still ships and is charged: $124.99 for three dinners for two at full price, shipping included.

Cancel Trifecta

  1. Contact Trifecta’s support team by phone, email or the live chat on its site; the number and address are on its cancel page, linked below.
  2. Give your name, your subscription number or account email, and say that you want to cancel your subscription.
  3. Do it at least seven full business days before your next delivery, as its terms ask: by the Tuesday ten days before a Friday delivery or the Wednesday ten days before a Saturday one. Phone and chat answer from 8 AM to 5 PM Pacific, seven days a week; email any time.

Trifecta writes 11:59 PM PT, the Friday before your delivery, and charges your card the next morning, when the order locks. To cancel, its terms ask for seven full business days’ notice by phone or email. Keep the confirmation email or screen until your next delivery date has passed.

Trifecta’s terms ask for more notice than its cancel page: a cancellation by phone or email at least seven full business days before your next delivery, which is the Tuesday ten days before a Friday delivery or the Wednesday ten days before a Saturday one, earlier if a public holiday falls in between. They also say a request sent any other way can take up to five business days. Its cancel page gives 11:59 PM Pacific on the Friday a week before delivery; cancelling by the date in its terms meets both.

Then add a weekly reminder to your own calendar.

Skip one box

  1. Open My Account and click Manage Subscription, or the Subscriptions tab.
  2. Click More Details on the subscription, then Skip Weeks at the top right.
  3. Choose up to four delivery dates to skip: skipped weeks turn black and the button changes to Unskip. The app has the same steps under Shop.

Skipping removes that one delivery; your plan carries on with the next one on your schedule.

Pause for longer

  1. Skip up to four weeks at a time in your account, with the steps above.
  2. For a longer slowdown, email its support team to move to deliveries every other week, every third week or once a month.

Trifecta has no pause button. Once your account is on deliveries every other week, every third week or monthly, it no longer shows the Skip Weeks button, so skips then go by email too.

What happens after the cutoff

After the Friday cutoff the order is charged on Saturday morning and locked: it still ships, and a cancellation stops only the deliveries after it. The amount above is $112.00 food + $12.99 shipping, before tax.

Work out the cutoff for your delivery and download a weekly reminder.

If you are switching rather than stopping

You want fewer than seven meals a week (CookUnity and Tempo start at four), to order once with no subscription (Clean Eatz Kitchen or Mom’s Meals), or to cancel online without contacting anyone (Factor or Tempo).
