How to skip, pause or cancel Tovala

Cancel online in 2 steps, by 6 PM Central on the Wednesday the week before delivery. Miss the cutoff and the next box still ships and is charged: $94.93 for three dinners for two at full price, shipping included.

Cancel Tovala

  1. In the Tovala app, open Settings, then Meal Plan, then Delivery Settings.
  2. Choose Cancel, by 6 PM Central on the Wednesday the week before your next delivery; after that, the next week’s meals still ship.

Tovala writes 6 p.m. CT and says the deadline can move around holidays. If you haven’t picked meals by then, it picks them for you and charges your card. Keep the confirmation email or screen until your next delivery date has passed.

Bought the oven for less on its six-order offer? Until your sixth order the app lets you skip weeks but not pause or cancel. To leave early, contact its support team: within 100 days of buying the oven you can return it for a full refund and the plan is cancelled; after that you pay the difference between the oven’s full price and what you paid. Bought it at full price, on tovala.com or from a store such as Costco? Then there is no commitment, and you can pause or cancel in the app.

Skip one box

  1. In the Tovala app, open the Order tab and choose the week you want to skip.
  2. At the bottom of that week’s menu, choose Skip/Adjust, then Skip Delivery.
  3. Do it by 6 PM Central on the Wednesday the week before. You can skip up to 5 weeks ahead, in the app or at my.tovala.com.

Skipping removes that one delivery; your plan carries on with the next one on your schedule.

Pause for longer

  1. In the Tovala app, open Settings, then Meal Plan, then Delivery Settings, and choose Pause.
  2. Pick a return date 4 to 8 weeks away: deliveries start again on their own, and Tovala emails you two weeks before.

Tovala’s pause runs 4 to 8 weeks to a return date you choose; deliveries start again on their own, and if you haven’t picked meals for that week, Tovala picks them. It isn’t open to anyone still owing orders on a discounted oven.

What happens after the cutoff

After the Wednesday cutoff Tovala starts preparing the next week’s meals and can’t cancel them; a cancellation then stops the deliveries after that one. The amount above is $83.94 food + $10.99 shipping, before tax; the Smart Oven its meals cook in is extra, $299 at list price.

Can you cancel Tovala at any time?

Yes, online, in 2 steps. On the six-order oven offer, cancelling goes through its support team until the sixth order and costs the difference to the oven’s full price, unless you return the oven within 100 days. A box already past its cutoff still ships and is charged.

If you are switching rather than stopping

You don’t want another appliance on the counter (Factor sends cooked meals to heat in a microwave), want to order once with no subscription (Clean Eatz Kitchen or Mom’s Meals), or have no WiFi at home: without it the oven can’t scan its meals.
